An out standing route, climbed all 11 pitches and lots of forth - easy fifth class on dubious rock to top out. Eschewing the scramble is okay, one should certainly not try to claim an ascent without at least topping out on the wall though. The eleventh pitch has one original bolt and ends at a two bolt belay (one of which is also old). A light single rack will easily suffice, although DOWT is regarded as a trad route, it's (a little too) tightly bolted. One can easily link pitches 5 & 6. It's also recommended to skip the old belay anchor on pitch 4 and continue up to the hanging belay. Car to car in 13 hours, climbed the route in 6 hours. 58 and sunny in Vegas with little wind in the canyon, quite comfortable on the route. Pitches 2 and 4 are sound for the grade, many of the other pitches are 5.6 - 5.7 material.

Lead every pitch,partner took a 9mm slug a few months prior in arm over B.S.

i'm recording this several years after the fact. This route has stuck w/ me for 4 years. amazing line indeed. My partner took a tumble on a small run out on the 7th pitch or maybe 6th

An all time classic. Great rock, gear and weather!! Cool finish to pitch 4.

great climb. had some problems with twisted twin ropes, but other than that, climbing was fast and fun.

Great route! I was lucky enough to get all the long fun pitches, including all the cruxes. Sweet!

After arriving in Vegas we headed out to do as much of this climb as possible before Dark. We got 4 pitches up before rapping.
