Full moonlight ascent.

Climbed with Liz in a good long day. God stuck behind the Garth & Gordon show, so we got stuck waiting between pitches alot. Otherwise, such a great climb. Black face and the following pitch were the money pitches. So cool to reach the summit too.

The Black Face and the pitch above it are the clear standouts on this route. We climbed LONG pitches and did the entire ridge in 5 pitches (lower in 3, upper in 2ish). The upper ridge was a bit disappointing as I was expecting a bit more exposure: most of this section is gully hiking. Still, a grand outing!

Lower exum is great, went quickly... the black face was the best pitch. We soloed the upper exum, which was fun, but not as good as the lower. Going down OS (which we had trouble finding) made for a long day.

Easily the best route I've been on! Roped at 6:45, on Wall Street shortly before 11:00 and summit a few hours later. Every pitch is good, the Black Face is amazing. Someone with a few spare hours could build a rack by removing all of the fixed gear on this one.

Cold start, but clear, breezy, sunny day up top. Gold face pitch is clean, sunny, face climb, fixed gear as I recall, variation at top of face (described in Rossiter guidebook).
