Most fun I had on my short trip to RR. Lots of cool huecos w/ an exciting finish.

Good warmup for the harder routes on the wall. I would put this route at 10c/d Definitely not 11b and definitely not 10b. The route has massive holds all the way to the top with one 10c/d move right before the anchors. I witnessed my friend Alex who has been climbing for about a month onsight this thing. Very impressive.

UPDATED: After nearly 5 years of additional sport climbing since originally climbing this one, I returned to find it still commands some respect even though I red-pointed it with relative ease (practically a "flash" after nearly 5 years between climbs). It's great to return to old climbs that handed me my arse in the past and then send them with no problem. I've gotten much stronger (did not flash pump) and wiser (I can read holds better, drop knee now, find rests, and maintain my climbing balance and poise). Still very fun and felt comparatively 11- for RR.

2007MAY05: hueco'd overhanging climb that took all that I had to pull the moves from bolt to bolt and then rest. We followed the guide for the next easiest climb to Long Walk Off a Short Pier 5.9. Much to my surprise it was clear that this wasn't a 5.10b once I got started. I was happy to pull it, but I paid dearly by getting cashed out for the remainder of the climbing trip.

One of the best 11b's I've ever tried!

brock is a waste- it's not .10b. It felt .10d/.11a, which means that .11b is a decent rating for the route in RR- given the nature of the routes around. really good route, though- lots of fun!

The Brock guide lists this as 10b: it's certainly a little stiff for this grade with a surprising crux near the top. Regardless of grade, it's an enjoyable route!
