4 out of 5 stars .

A really enjoyable climb! Transition lower than you think out left - there is a low foot hold that you can stem on, because getting the knob with a right, not a left hand, is key... I had to match on it bleh. Fingers didn't fit in the second scar.

The thin .10a crack above ate up gear and was a great place to enjoy some thin jams :] wee!

4 out of 5 stars My Nemesis

You transition from a big fat well protectable lie-back crack into a thinner finger crack. The transition from the lieback to the small crack proved to be the crux for me and it spit me out. The finger crack does not let up for another 20 feet or so. from there it slabs out a bit and opens you up to a beautiful view of the valley and gains you access to the Devil's Bathtub.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome finger crack!

The lower crux portion of the route becomes shaded by mid-afternoon. This route protects very well (I used 9 pieces plus a horn sling). The crux is a 10' finger crack that eats small cams (I sewed it up with 3). There are ample places to rest just below and about 10' above the crux. The manzanita on the belay ledge was crawling with ants. I broiled in the sun on the belay ledge while my son cleaned, but afterward realized I could have scrambled 20' back toward the wall and belayed in the shade of a tree.

Getting into the crack is hard for short people. I'd TRed this before.

4 out of 5 stars Thin moves

A great combination: A short layback, followed by a thin crack, then a long easy (5.7) section to the top. Tiny gear (I used 0 and 1 TCUs) for the crux.

There was a rap anchor off a manzanita bush at the top. Our single 60 meter rope was too short, and, there was a lot of drag when pulling the rope. Exposed but easy 3rd class scramble left is the alternate descent.
