Description:

At the big chimney, the very smooth part to the left side is "The Wave." This route climbs easier rock farther left, up an orange face, from a ledge over a small overhang to a vertical crack to top out.

3 out of 5 stars worth a trip.

Tried this out on TR today and will come back to hit it on gear when I have a little more time. Pretty straightforward and the gear looked obvious; small cams and some nuts. The climb seemed overall pretty consistent up until the end. If you take the crack up to the left of the anchors it got a bit harder.

The variation straight up was pretty fun, maybe 5.9+? If you drop a line try both. Top rope anchors, no rap rings. Extend your anchor and the master point will hang nicely in space if you do it right. Good warm up for the harder business to the right (The Wave and Hawaii 5-O).
