***Booze and Broads - 5.9

This is a great route, but a humbling experience. The bouldery and strenuous start had me gasping by the time I got up on the actual climb. A crux section with scant handholds about 2/3 of the way up resulted in repeated pendulum falls, and I ended up backing down. After collecting myself a while, I went at it again and managed to finish the climb, but not without one pull on gear, much to my shame. I want to go back and do this one right, preferably when the weather is cooler and the rock is drier. Much respect to Frank for a marathon lead of this route in steambath conditions.
