4 out of 5 stars Great first trad lead

This route was easy, fun, and took great pro. As a first trad lead, it was a great route with plenty of opportunities to place.

5 out of 5 stars Can't wait to go back

This is possibly my favorite 11 that I've attempted at NJC. The climb is juggy and 5-easy until just the last few bolts, then it's go-time. You feel pretty exposed at the top, so the falls are pretty fun. And - if you're lucky - you may have some bighorn sheep scamper up right next to you and your rope like I did.

3 out of 5 stars Okay

Nothing special. Watch out for hollow flakes and potential rock fall.

3 out of 5 stars Worth doing

This route's pretty crimpy. Thought it was just a little bit overrated, but depends on who you talk to. It was still fun. I'll be back for the redpoint.

3 out of 5 stars Pretty good

Hadn't done this one since back when I first started climbing. Bottom is easy. The dihedral crack is fun, and gives the option of some more technical work (I was able to do a bit of jamming combined with stemming), or a more pumpy layback.

3 out of 5 stars A bit pumpier than Tangerine

This route had a bit more pump to it than tangerine, in my opinion. It's fun, but I'd say that Tangerine's the more enjoyable between the two because of its variety in movements.

4 out of 5 stars Fun redpoint

I personally find the lower crux the most difficult (4th and 5th bolts I think?), but this is a great route with lots of fun moves that only get better as you go up. Started suddenly pouring rain for me when I reached the dihedral, but that just made the redpoint even better and kept away the gloom of having to leave the quarrry early.

Just a little pumpy, but fun. Worth a climb!

3 out of 5 stars Mental boost for me.

TR'd this one multiple times, but wasn't too eager to lead it because of the pumpy final crux and its potential fall (just not the nice, perfectly clean kind of fall I was used to, which is why I decided to finally lead it today to expose myself to the scenario). Leading it helped me overcome one of my mental barriers in regards to lead falls. Fun route, too. Worth doing.
