4 out of 5 stars Excellent!

Great crack. Be sure to bring a lot of micro cams, TCUs, C3's etc. The crack get's to be thinner than fingers and you have to shift climber's lift and use crimps on the face and a right side-pull on the crack.

2 out of 5 stars Chossy and classic J-Tree face

20' slabby face to the first rusty bolt, micro-crimps that like to break, smearing J-Tree friction for feet. About a total of 5-6 bolts. The last bolt you can't see from the previous bolt. Climb up this flake with pockets and you'll see the last bolt. 2 bolt anchor with rap-rings. The pitch is a full 60m rope length. Definitely need two ropes to rappel down, however you can solo up to the top and do the walk-off far to climbers left.

Update: I just found out that this was an unnamed bolted climb to climber's right of A Dream of White Poodles. It seems more like 5.9 or 5.9+ if you're not used to J-Tree friction.

4 out of 5 stars Great climb!

Climbing this was better than watching the super bowl.

2 out of 5 stars Easy & fun

Easy & fun, good for beginners. Seemed more like 5.7, but maybe I'm getting better.

2 out of 5 stars Good for noobs

Fun, easy climb. Good to set up for beginners. Seemed more like 5.8, but if you don't know how to use microedges for hand/feet, it can be pretty tough. 4 sketchy, rusty bolts to a 2-bolt anchor mid-slab.

3 out of 5 stars Wicked pendulum at the crux!

TR'ed this as the last route of the day. I set my anchors on the bolts to climbers right of the roof. First 1/3 is about 5.5-5.7 ish and chossy. Watch out for beach strollers in rock fall danger. Used the 1-2 finger pockets and edges to get 15' below the top (10a), then underclug the roof and exited to the right. Big, short pendulum at the roof. You're 6' below your anchors and 8' to the left. I fell there twice, probably because I was psyched out. Excellent climb.

3 out of 5 stars Excellent

I love this route. One of the best at Point Dume. Great for TRing after babysitting noobs on the slab and showing them what "real" climbing is like :) The bolts up the face are kind of sketchy. I don't think I'd like to take a lead fall on them. The two bolts at the top are also a little sketchy, both rusty and one spins. I TR'ed this route. Easy (~5.5ish) for the first third, then it get's pretty stout. Watch out for the loose flake just below the 3rd bolt. Keep non-climbers out of rock fall danger too.

4 out of 5 stars NICE!

Great hand crack. Excellent protection, just be sure to use some long runners for the short traverse half-way up to avoid rope drag. Excellent protection, just be sure to bring lots of gear in the 0.5 - #1 range and some bigger #2-#3 for the anchors. Hardest on-site trad lead so far, but it seemed a little easy for a 5.9.

3 out of 5 stars Excellent

Great crack. Thin finger crack with some ring-locks and a few good hand-jams. It would have been phenomenal if Greg (see ascent notes below) hadn't gotten my TCU stuck :)

3 out of 5 stars Fun!

Seemed a little tough for a 5.8, perhaps more like a 5.9. The start was the crux in my opinion. There is great protection. Bring a lot of thin-mid gear (<2") and maybe a #3 or #4 for the anchor at the top.
