easy, breezy, beautiful

Lovely route, very straight forward... definitely way way too easy to be a 5.9, great jug holds throughout... fun long route. Loved it.

fun long route

Crux is the only 5.9 part... ease up after first bolt. Fun fun long climb... run out section is only 5.6, not too bad, just be careful.

poo to me

layback combo is my niche... big fun move up to the layback... probably only a 59. Everything went fine until I hit the third layback move at the top. just couldn't hold on. Had to bat man for the first time in my life to reach anchor. Not happy.

pink point AND fell off at anchor 3 times... seriously was the worst climbing day in memory. fun route though... probably the best one we did of the day.

It was challenging- technical... the crux is mid face 1/3 way up the route where your hand runs thin and you have no feet. The second half is pretty easy with lots of side pull on a bulge partial block. Good filler climb, but I would skip this guy too.

the best multi-pitch sport route I've been on

15 years of climbing... this is probably my favorite sport lead, ever. Long, consistent, well protected, slightly technical first pitch... so much fun. Very sad that we were forced off due to a threatening thunder storm.

It's way easier than the 5.8+ the guide book gave it, and definitely way easier than the 5.9 rated here. Probably consistently 7, with a couple of 8- moves. The length probably gave it the extra rating.

If you want to rap off, you need a 70 meter rope to fully reach bottom. 60 meter would get you 5 feet off the ground, but with the slopey start, and rope stretch, you will be fine.

okay, very technical

Lots of push off/ side pull combo... technical climbing, but not very fun. I thought the crux is actually harder than the hardest move on the 11a (Twilight Kid), but the rest of the route is easier.

I'd skip it.
