4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Nice mantel crux. Otherwise the climbing is straightforward. Well protected all the way.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Took a hang at the mantel, taken slightly aback by the intensity of it. Once through that move, the purportedly "thin" face climbing seemed straightforward.

Note that Young's guide shows 5 bolts before the anchors, but in reality there are only 4. The 5th bolt preceding the anchors does not exist (but is not needed, as the final moves are very easy).

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Rock quality is mediocre, but the climb gets points as a nice, chill, lengthy pitch. Plenty of gear placements, but doesn't exactly swallow the gear.

3 out of 5 stars Easy Warm Up

Probably only has one move worthy of 5.8 above the final bolt to top out--otherwise easy and short.

4 out of 5 stars Fun crack and mini-roof

Fun, easy trad lead. While intimidating, the roof turns out to be easily surmounted.

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Very nice climb. Some might argue runout between the second and third bolts after the ledge, but the climbing between them is really easy (5.5/5.6 tops). Surmounting the bulge seemed more interesting then sidestepping to the right--lots of possibilities for protection.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent

Granted, I'm new to trad, and roofs give me the shakes, but the crux seemed pretty strenuous for 5.6. Great hands and marginal feet in the true Ontario style.

4 out of 5 stars Fun Lead

Intense--High quality rock. Would be a top rating from me, if not for the fact that it is extremely slick and polished, especially towards the bottom of the climb.
