I liked this one a lot. Look ahead for the bolts tho. They camouflage for some reason. I almost passed a bolt twice before I realized it was right there.

Harder than it looked

I clipped all the way to the last bolt then had to rest. I spent way too long trying to get through the middle section with those few slippery holds.

ypu pick your route

How this one goes all depends on how you go at it. No bolts, just chains. I think it is a 10a only if you stay on the left side of the aretes and approach it as if it were a crack climb in the corner.

If this is the farthest route to the right on the south side of the wall it seemed harder to me than a 5.9. For some reason I had a lot of trouble getting the second bolt - fell twice trying to get it. Weird placement for the chains, you basically top out then walk like ten feet to them.

Mistaken Identity

I was using an older book and thought this was one of the nearby 5.9's. Most of the route isn't too bad, but I sat at the crux for about a half hour trying before I figured out how to get over it.

Fun

Great lead. I'm still a novice at leading and this was pretty easy. The moves are at a very consistent level of difficulty. Fun and easy, great route for beginners. We hit this wall about 830 am and had about an hour and a half of shade.

Great warmup

Two good sized ledges make this a 5.8. Fun moves in between. Awkward spot for your partner to belay from - have to kind of sit back on the tree for balance.
