From the ground it looked like there would be good pro on the traverse, but this was not the case. The rock under the roof was all chossy and would not hold a fall, causing fairly <b>serious runout</b>. A fall could lead to a nasty swing into the book. Don't attempt this climb unless you are very solid at 5.10, as falling is not an option. The situation was no better for the second, as they were also exposed to a large swing with pleanty to hit on the way.
