This was my fourth trip up SS and I cheated a bit for the sake of speed since I lead all the pitches. (Done it clean in the past) Awesome route but it kicks your butt! I'd always lusted at the 10c splitter fist crack on crucifix from the neighboring NE Buttress. I finally got to do the route with a stronger partner. I got spanked badly but still enjoyed the mid 5.10 cracks immensely. My leads were often quite French I'm afraid.
