Aid is crazy/lazy
I was recovering from a knee surgery and couldn't climb. However the doctor said I could climb a ladder, just no rock climbing. Thats when I took up aid climbing. Several hook moves in between hanging on bolts. Not the best style, but this isn't the best route either.

Nice memories
I totaly remember this route. Move far right of the bolt just below the top out for big holds. The bottom is wierd because of the ramp like climbs. I love this area because its where I learned to climb and grew up on these routes.

That's it no more
This is the last time I lead this route! I'm tired of being the nice guy and setting this up for noob's who don't have the stones to lead a 5.9! I guess the reason why it gets climbed so much is because it one of the easiest routes at the rock.

I aided the beast!
After knee surgery I could only climb ladders. Aidders are ladders right? Even leading it on aid I got puckered.

No slide shows in your Future
I Solo aided this with a GriGri after an ACL surgery in 2002. The doc said I couldn't climb but I could go up an ladder. Thats when I took up aid climbing. I lassoed a stump as a belay and put some toons on and went for it. I pretended I was in Yosemite.

Danny Campbell Belayed me
Haveing lead Wheat thin under my belt I decided to cast off and do this beast too. I remember setting a pink Camp Tri-cam in a pocket and it worked like a monkey fist rather than pro you could fall on. Didn't fall though, thankfully.

Just do it.
Threre use to be the littlest flake in the back of the first roof that you could pull on to clip the bolt on the lip. I yarded too hard and it exploded, then started to yell falling. In mid air I clipped the bolt and hung on it. On a different time a wasp landed on my chest and I freaked out and fell just before that same bolt. I stopped inches from the ground. Milton Beasley saved my life (well ancles) yet again. I finally got the red point.
