Intense!
Freaked out on lead and ended up top roping it haha. This is definitely a mental route where you need to trust your feet, holy cow. And I don't know if it was my shortness, but this route felt waaay harder than a lot of the other 10a slabs in Jackson.

Love this route!
The bulgy top near the anchors always freaks me out a bit. I can't wait to send this route though!

Hard start for short people
Getting to the 2nd bolt was ridiculously difficult since I couldn't reach the obvious hold that everyone else could. Once I jugged up a few inches to the hold, the rest was tons of fun! Got to use some fun techniques which is nice.

This route would be cake on top rope, but the small traverses on lead got me a bit freaked out and I had to do a "mental take" haha. Good route though!

One of my first leads!
Felt pretty exposed for one of my first lead climbs! But it was still fun, and a fairly easy route. 10/16/2010
Update - still fun! Not as scary as the first time :-) Watch out for little acorn bombs in autumn, those suckers hurt!

I sometimes struggle with the start since it is often slippery, but once I get past it, it's fine. I usually traverse a bit left after the 2nd bolt. I find the 5.9 Through the Smoke route more fun.

Fun route
We did this one right after Keep the Jammen. In the guidebook, this one is rated harder, but I though Keep the Jammen was more difficult. Fun route though!
