Good trianing
I led this with a mixed group Mountaineers. Good route to introduce concepts of Alpine climbing. Great variety of styles between face, crack, offwidth, semi-chimney, pockets, knobs, traversing, scrambling, exposure, both bolted and gear anchors, etc. We even got rain and wind to round out the experience. Did as 3 pitches for better communication on the upper face.

Bold
Classic link up with Traitor Horn. Interesting and varied climbing from the chimney, out onto the airy face with the left leaning crack, up through the steeper section, and over the roof. I found some of the crack itself to be more difficult than the roof which has a solid undercling and excellent fingerlocks in easy reach over the roof. I'm solid on lead at this grade, but I was glad I wasn't on lead for this one.

Classic
Climbed Coffin Nail (great) to Traitor Horn. Traverse into and up the dihedral before the horn is definitely the crux. The horn goes easy, felt 5.4 but very fun. Take time to savor the view from the horn before moving on!

A new favorite
Led P1 & 2 with 1 hex and 1 HB offset nut per pitch. Scrambled/soloed the rest. 4 raps with 30m twin ropes.
Still a ton of snow in early July. Snow just melting out on the summer trail. Returned via winter trail, stream crossings also just melting out.

Good pro
Good warm-up for the Memorial wall. Easy trad climb, then crux is the upper bolted section. More fun than the scramble to the left side of the upper wall.

Spring ascent
Plenty of snow still in early June this year. Tricky transition from snow to rock in the approach gully - the snow is pulling away from the rock but hasn't yet cleared a path around the snow. Great climb, can be done in 2 long pitches with some scrambling. There are some fun 5.6ish sections if you're looking to make the climb more interesting. There's still a surprising amount of loose rock on even the frequently climbed parts of the wall. The rap from the base of the wall to the basin below is recommended - but make sure the rope reaches past any moats if there's still deep snow.

Sweet finish
to a Joshua Tree trip. Makes a perfect last climb. Not such a good idea at dusk, the climb is fine but the downclimb isn't as fun in the dark.

Fun
First climb of the trip. Fun and interesting climb. Unusual downclimb, especially at dusk. The downclimb would make a great beginner wall for kids.
