Short and pumpy.
This route doesn't have a 'star' in the Falcon guide, but I think it should. It's sustained almost the whole way. Mix of techniques. Somewhat boulder-y, steep finish. You need strength and balance. It's a pretty action-packed 35 feet.

Ha.
Went up this thinking it was WWC Memorial Route. Couldn't believe how easy it was. Had I looked at the topo more carefully I would have noticed the contrived beginning on WWC.
Anyway, Right Wing is fun. We actually finished straight up over the overhang from the ledge (mixing the two routes), which seems like a very natural and direct variation.

Fun, strong, somewhat sequence-y layback up an overhang.
I disagree about the chockstone at the top of the crux- it held my 190 lbs. without the slightest budge. Seems bomber to me. Above the chock it eases off to 5.7 climbing.

Ahh...
Hit this after a tough day at Cannon. Simulclimbed all but two pitches. 5.8 variation crux is awkward, and yes the Fairyland Traverse is exciting (though by no means hard). A fun, stress-free day.

Whew.
My foot popped off while pulling the triangular roof. The rope slid along the serrated edge of the roof (I was following) and was cut through the sheath to the core. Lots of white core showing, some of it frizzy from the edge. I tied in above the core shot and actually enjoyed the rest of the climb. Only later did I replay that moment in my head and, ahem, give it some thought. 5th pitch (Finger) is a gem. Just watch the roof move.

Sweet climb.
This is a super fun and unique climb. The first 50 feet to the block starts off challenging and eases off to some fun, exposed stemming. The block makes for an awkward moment, and then it's some rather steep face climbing to the top. All in all, IMHO this route is a diamond in the rough. It's also a total sandbag at 5.7.

Good stuff.
In CT most of the 5.7 and 5.8 climbs are corners, off-widths or awkward cracks that don't take jams. Realm is a face climb. You will crimp. Fun and balance-y, with a vexing and satisfying finish.
