Brought a fishing pole but didn't get to fish! Climbed the North ridge of North Peak and the North ridge of Mt Coness in a long day. Best day of climbing in a long time.

There's a lot of people here.
Found more people on this route then i could imagine. Passed most of them on side routes. Good clean fun! combat climbing.

Thorn in my side.
Climbed route on a whim. Super fun! Didn't realize that I was climbing with my new next door neighbor. My partner was a friend of a friend, upon arriving at the tree at sunset, we talked and found out we live next door to each other!

dont drink the water!
The plan was to climb the route with three people, but we lost the third on the way. Climbed the route in two and a half days. Ran out of water on the second day due to the heat. Watch out for the ring tail cats they will steal your food. Ended up drinking out of a seep on the top, the water brown and had spiders in it. UMMM, spider water! My partner ended up taking a head over heals fall in the north gully hurting his pride a bit. Great route, look forward to doing it again with better style in the future.

First big climb in yosemity
Epic trip, car broke down on the way in copperopilis (AKA: BFE). Climb was awsome, will be back

Solo ascent by:
Go big, or go home!
Put route up from ground on lead. What a chore. All bolts by hand drill. Initially set up as training site for solo aid climbing. Sunshine has evolved since then to be a fun sport lead. Try the route as A0 and do it under 10 min. Thats my best!
