3 out of 5 stars Long and loose

Fun and exciting climbing on pockets and knobs. No less than three medium-sized knobs came off in Jeffrey's hand on lead. Really hard to see the leader while belaying in the narrow canyon with the tree limbs overhead.

3 out of 5 stars Cool in The Canyon

Fun solo. With the temps in the high 90s elsewhere, it's cool in The Canyon.
FYI, P1 - 4 bolts (4th is a chain anchor for the Brand X wall) to a chain anchor on the left, P2 - 4 bolts.

3 out of 5 stars Hot, Hot, Hot,

In the parking area the thermometer read 105 degrees. "GoldLine" is long and meanders, but not an issue as a solo. Although a bit chossy, the moves are easy and it's a fun climb. Nice view from the top. Take plenty of water.

4 out of 5 stars Cool

Caught this route as the day was winding down. Fun moves on steep featured stone. Not to be missed.

4 out of 5 stars Father's Day

Uh, that's thin. Some serious palming needed here. TCM really gets thin and slabby at the top. Well protected, but exciting and fun.

4 out of 5 stars Sweet Pockets

Great pockets on a steep face. As the wall bulges the holds get smaller. Fun & exciting.

3 out of 5 stars Good Clean Fun

We liked Slotterhouse best. Easier than the other routes on the Egg Cup Buttress, but well protected and interesting moves.

3 out of 5 stars Deja Vue

We had the Pangea Wall to ourselves. No one else at Texas Canyon. Great conditions, so we climbed the route a couple times and upgraded the hardware. The flies and bugs are really annoying in the afternoon. Fun climb.

3 out of 5 stars Bolts & Anchors Everywhere

Roped solo of the Goldline. Fun!! On the 2nd pitch there are bolts and anchors within easy reach on either side of Goldline. Replaced the old rusty 1/4" bolt with the decrepit SMC hanger with a new 3/8" X 4" Powers 5-piece bolt, in a solid inclusion.
Although not hard, this is definitely NOT a sport climb. No one at Texas Canyon mid-week.

5 out of 5 stars Great Fun!

Fun moves on a steep face with great, albeit, small features. The move up to the roof is exciting.
