Had the rock to ourselves on a Thursday. I started on the flake off the left ledge. That was the hard part. I used one piece to protect the traverse. Committing, but good hands make it very doable.

Onsight ascent by:

Easy start, skip pro until the chimney. Tried facing left first, (good feet) but works better facing right since you exit that direction. I stopped after the traverse at the top and set an anchor for the 10a. Skipped the scary topout and just traversed left around the block to the ramp descent on the other side. Happy about that decision.

you can place pro before the first bolt if you want. has a few strenuous moves, but places to rest in between. Love that top out!

Did the direct start since I'm 6-1 and can easily reach the jugs.
otherwise, take a hike downhill and around the cactus plant to find an easy ramp. fun climbing in the middle with plenty of options along the way. extend the anchor with a long cordelette for your second or TR crew.

Well, I clipped the bolt and slipped on the slab move a few seconds later with brand new resole job. ran it out to the bolts for Comatose. 70m rope just gets you down.

just plan on putting your fingers through a bit of torture pulling the crux over the roof. the rest is easy steep face climbing.

This is a sustained 4 bolt climb starting in the streambed. I found liebacking the key to unlocking the sequences. Positive holds higher up but still challenging.
