silverrider's Logbook (9 ascents)

This is a very long and sustained route. I started at the bottom so the first bolt is a ways up. Easy climbing to the first bolt. The 2nd bolt is really high with the chance of hitting the huge slab/ledge below should you blow it. I used a blue TCU after the 1st bolt (great placement) on the way to the 2nd bolt. The route continues to be sustained 5.11 climbing. The 3rd bolt is placed in a way wich makes it hard to clip from below. You will need to get level or pass it a bit to get a good clipping stance. The route was fun but very tough for the grade. I took a couple of good falls and finished it right before darkness fell. The top is low angle face climbing with not very many positive holds. The anchors are muzzy fish hooks.

I liked this climb. It is an easier climb at te bottom and then gets steeper at the top. Nice moves at the top over the buldge. Great warm up for the harder climbs to the left.

Great arete. Nice lieback moves.

Great reachy crux with a bit of balance thrown in for fun. The slab move at the top above the ledge is a little commiting but a great way to end a sport route.

There are a few variations to this climb. You can make it harder or easier than 5.9. There are also bolted anchors at the top.

I thought a couple of themoves were harder than 5.8. Use a .75 or smaller cam to protect first moves until you reach the first bolt.

Fun climb and well placed bolts. Rap hanger and rap chain for anchors.

Very easy to place small pro and very fun climbing. Wish it went on for a couple more pitches.
