I tried to lead the knob face climb, but could not figure out the moves. Belayed at base of chimney, as I used my only big cam in hand crack. Partner completed lead.

led pitches 2 and 4. Pitch 2 was scary runout to the first bolt, then was safe.
Pitch 4 I went straight up, and turned big roof. My partner said actual route went left and avoided big roof. I had to garden to place a stopper above roof.

Felt harder than the grade. Very steep for a 5.6. Awkward flaring jams in several places. Sustained for most of route. Partner bootied a rock empire cam from one of the cruxes. I couldn't fish it out on lead, too hard.
