Description

A great all round draw. This quickdraw gives a great combination of price, weight and size. The Livewire biner has a shrouded nose to help provent gate opening and a strong hot forged back.

Lightweight and strong 5 out of 5 stars

Spectra and this biner design is a winning combo. Yes, a longer sling would be nice at times, but as they are, the're specially good for trad with just the right lack of stiffness where biner meets dogbone. They clip easily, but the big plus is lack of weight for the buck. The're are lighter ones out there, but I only gave around 15 and a half each, which makes them pretty cheap for draws this light.

These are light and cheap! I got them for less than they are listed here ($16 CDN at MEC). The gates have nice action. The biners are slightly anodized different shades for quick identification of rope and gear ends (especially if you break up the quickdraw to add to a sling or something). Tight around the rope end. Overall a very nice product which feels nice in the hand. A full sized biner for hardly any more weight then a BD Neutrino.

I got 20cm ones with open dyneema slings. They are very floppy so great for trad as we as being very easy to clip. Upgraded from Black Diamond Quickslivers and they seem much lighter. They cost me £35 ($65) from Snow and Rock and a bargin.

This is a great draw, I'm not sure if the price listed here is right or what, because I got them for like 13 bucks each. They're light weight and clipping them is a dream. The wire gates are great for ice/snow because they don't freeze up, but naturally, they aren't key lock and can snag on stuff, but I knew that from the start when I bought them. They're spectra slung, so if you're into that that's a plus. I really wish they came in a longer size, i'd be on that like glue on a second grader's art project.
