Hey man this harness is the most bang for the buck! Totally suitable for spot routes, but I was total impressed with it on a 5 pitch trad route.
Again for the money you cant go wrong. I bout this harness as a temporary rig while I thought about what I really want...
It is really well constructed and has adequate padding on waist and legs, when compared to BD's BOD or something like that, there is no question get the Vertical! It even has a rated haul loop . I paid $40 bucks so look for the deals.
The people at Trango seem to me are very unsung but every piece of gear I have from them takes the cake!
I rated this a 3 but wanted to give it a 3.5. As for cons, none really to speak of, I ajust am acustomed to harnesses like the Petzl Gurou and the Yates Shield... I like the large swami and the support it offers... So compare those to the Verticle and I am still saying it is a well made and pretty bomber harness
Cheers
