Nanda Devi at Sunrise

Nanda Devi (7,800m) is located in the Kumaon region of the Indian Himalaya along a traditional trading route with Tibet (closed since the war with China in the 60's). I camped at the base of this beautiful mountain for five days, and it lit up in gold for about five minutes every morning.
