Description:

This route is on the south (right) side of the canyon, and is the first one on the right after passing the Thunderbird/Eklutna junction. Only forms up in cold weather, but when it does, it is a beautiful route with a 25 foot freestanding pillar above about 50 feet of lower angled ice. Rappell from the trees.
