About Big Bluff:
| Big bluff is used by the Boy Scouts for Rapelling, and a few brave souls have done a 3 pitch aid route on this wall. There is no bolting allowed in the Buffalo River area but there are many huge bluffs like this one that have a lot of potential for hard trad and aid climbing. |

| Directions: | Take 412 east from Springdale (45 east from Fayetteville) to 103. Turn right (OSAGE, heading South) on 103. After curving east, 103 intersects 43-- turn right (PONCA, heading South) Go through Ponca and turn left on 74 (Jasper) Turn left to "Steel Creek" camping area. Hike East along the Buffalo river trail to Big Bluff. |
