This route isn't quite as much of a death climb as it first appears from the ground. The first bolt is very high, though. You can sling a horn which probably would keep you off the deck. Also some small nuts are useful higher up and right. Not recommended if 5.10 is a hard grade for you, though. Gear anchor, walk off right.
