Exit Interstate 80 at Eagle Lakes Road (exit 164) between Emigrant Gap and Cisco. Get to the north side of the interstate (this will entail going under both portions of the interstate if you are coming from the south) then turn left (south/downhill). Go about a half mile to a point where the cliffs are visible on your right. A powerline will cross the road in this area. If you reach Indian Springs Campground, you've gone slightly too far. Park on the right (cliff) side of the road at a clearing just south/downhill of the powerlines. From the parking spot, walk up through the clearing to a small stream. Continue up the stream bed to a small waterfall. Go up and right by the waterfall then contour right across the slope to the left side of the upper tier. You can also go up under the powerlines as an approach. |
