Description:

The route starts about 60' to the right of the right-side of the cookie. Start in the obvious slot about 25’ to the right of The Vendetta. Climb difficult cracks for 40' (crux). This leads to easier climbing up to a group of very large oak trees-belay here. Pitch 2: Ascend an open book up and right; step left around a chockstone 30' above. Continue up to a ledge at the base of a deep slot. Pitch 3: Climb to the back of the slot and then up to the top of the cliff. Although originally rated 5.9, I climbed this route in 1979 with Galen Rowell and Nigel Gifford and they both felt the first pitch was 5.10a/5.10b.
