About Wigwam Creek:
The highest elevations in the Platte are in the Wigwam Creek Valley so expect cooler temps. Lots of new route potential in this valley. Lots of great face climbs with some tough cracks. One of the most beautiful valleys in the Platte. |

Directions: | Drive west on 126 3 miles to road 211. Turn left and go another 1.5 miles and Little Wigwam will be on your right. Another 1/2 mile brings you to a sign for Lost Valley, follow this and go another mile to a sign for Wigwam Creek Trailhead. Another mile and a half brings you to the turn off for Wellington Lake and after 4 more miles turn left at the Wigwam Creek Trailhead sign. About a mile further bear right at the fork and you will soon come to the parking area. Hike west for a couple of miles and the rocks(except for Wigwam Tower) will be on your right. Another six or so miles will bring you to the Tower. |
