Description:

Technically part of "The New Gym", which is between Spiney Ridge and The Gym. Urban Fringe is located some 100' north of Black Mamba Arete (5.8+ arete on dark rock) on a slightly overhanging panel of red rock. The route follows a seam which widens to a finger and hand crack. Crank through a small overlap and end at anchors below a roof. Quality climbing with reasonable rests on surprisingly good rock.
