About Shaking Rock:

Open daily year round, free. Shaking rock used to actually shake, but now it is immobile. Come and try just over 100 problems from V0 to V10. There is an emphasis on mantling. Most of the landings are good. The season runs from October to April. Stays wet for a couple of days after rain. Most of the 100+ problems are unnamed. I (Dirko) am a regular local, and I feel that it is necessary to name all the problems for the purposes of documentation. So I am making a lot of them up. If you know different names for these problems, feel free to edit.

Nearest town or city:	Lexington
Directions:	From Athens, drive east on Hwy. 78 for approx. 15 miles. After passing Oglethorpe High School you will see a leftward bend in the road immediately follow and abandoned gas station on the right. You will see a carved stone sign reading "Shaking Rock" on the right. Turn right. Straight thru the stop sign, and you are there.
