About Green Canyon:
| The Green Canyon is a spectacular vertical Mecca down river from Riggins. The only access is by boat; floating into this canyon will make you giddy with excitment. Overhanging cliffs & boulders line the river and the canyon walls are a trad climbers dreem. To float this section can be done in a day but that would not allow any climbing time. The Guides House in Riggins caters to climbers and can show you the best lines or rent you a raft & run your schuttle. |

| Directions: | From the Hammer Cr. boat launch 23 miles north of Riggins if you are in a raft go with the flow... there is technical whitewatter so don't go unless you know what you are up to & were lifejackets!!! |
