About Little Hill:

Little Hill is mostly an ice climbing destination. It is a nice, fairly unbroken cliffband 20 to 50 feet tall that runs several hundred yards across the hillside. There is much potential for rock routes. Top ropes are hard to set up because the top of the cliff is steep, somewhat treeless woods.
Nearest town or city: New Gloucester
Directions: Take Route 95 to the Gray exit. Take a right off the exit and go about 200 yards to a 5-way intersection and traffic light. Take a left at the light to get on Route 100. Take that about 7 miles to Chandler Mill Road. Take a left on Chandler Mill Road and follow it across Route 95 to the first left turn onto Swamp Road. Drive to the end of the road and park on the left. Walk down the snowmobile trail a little ways then turn right onto the foot trail into the woods. Follow the foot trail a little ways and you should see the cliff on your left.
