About Buffalo Wall:

Description: ...if Rainbow Wall is the El Capitan of Red Rocks, Buffalo is the Half Dome. This wall sits far back into Icebox Canyon and takes a full day to approach with haul bags and gear. The routes here start at A3 and not very many have seen second ascents. Good luck on any adventure on this wall!

Approach: The Buffalo Wall is the massive, blank wall that sits high in the back of the canyon on the north side. To approach, you'll need to work your way up the canyon, leaving the trail and entering the drainage. At some point, head up and right across 4th and 5th class terrain towards the base of the wall. Serious technical climbing may be required!
