Rose Tower
About Rose Tower:
The Rose Tower is home to a Red Rocks moderate classic, and it probably houses others, although none are published. Olive Oil is popular, and deservedly so.
Approach: Instead of heading into Juniper Canyon, crusie along the trail until a faint trail cuts off, leading toward the base of the Rose Tower. Follow this, and after some bushwacking, you will arrive at the base. Beta/Updates: Do not leave anything at the base, as the descent takes you the other way (toward your car!). Also, this route has been done CTC in 1:29:50! Good luck! |
Approach: | Approach as for Juniper Canyon, but cut upwards toward the gully just to the right of the main canyon. |
