About Willow Springs:
Willows Springs at first glance, doesnt seem like it would have much climbing. Yet, upon closer examination, some amazing routes appear on the west side of the canyon. Those who think that Red Rocks grades are soft should come climb here. The climbing is sustained, beautiful, and most definitely correctly rated. This area also is where The Promised Land is located, a steep crag of beautiful limestone.
Access: This area is accessed from the loop road, but also can be accessed from the Rocky Gap road. When to climb: This area is sun facing in the morning (for the most part), making it a great stop on your way out of the first couple of pullouts for some end of the day trad cragging. Classics: Tonto, Ragged Edges, Plan F (First Half), The Graduate, and Chicken Eruptus.
