About Cathedral Rock:

Description: Sitting just behind the Mt. Charleston lodge is a large, free standing formation known as Cathedral Rock. Currently there is only one route on it, a 3 pitch sport climb.

Approach: Park at the parking lot just before the lodge on the right. Hop on the trail and follow it around to the right as it curves around the base. Follow the gully up and left to the base of a loose 4th class section. Look for the anchor bolts, which are the start of the route.
