Description:

Easier than Last Unicorn, but more runout. The big pitch is among the best of its grade on Whitehorse. First pitch shared with Harvest, et al to the tree on top of the flake, 5.6. Ladyslipper proper starts from here and goes straight up.

5 out of 5 stars Stellar

A little spicy with a crux well above the bolt, but certainly not R. Exciting finish with the hands-down best belay seat in North Conway! 5.9+

4 out of 5 stars Lady Slipper

The distance between bolts and the occasional gear make this a heady lead. I found several holds that looked like they would soon be breaking off.

Lucander sums it up well, below.

5 out of 5 stars Lady Slipper

A good consolation after discovering a sopping wet Lost Souls. Intricate route movement, good climbing above gear, and a burly finish combine with serious exposure to make this a can't miss.

Hardly run-out, just creative gear. Great route!
