Description:

From: Rock Climbing at West Point 2nd Edition Start: RRT# 99 - Yellow chips in rock 4' left of twin oaks. Route: Climb over first knob and clip the first bolt on left facing corner. Go to second bolt 6" below overhang. Go left and zig zag to the top 14' left of large dead oak. Note: You get a lot of rope drag on this route. A good amount is due to the way the second and third clips cause the rope to hug the overhang. Try to reach down and unclip the second clip after you've clipped the 3rd clip.

4 out of 5 stars Tough route

As noted in the other review, route-reading can be a little tricky.

3 out of 5 stars decent climb

pretty straight forward climbing except for the fact that it sometimes gets hard to figure out exactly which bolts are for your route and which ones belong to the next route over so rack a couple extra draws in case you clip an extra.

little beta: beneath the overhang right above the second clip there's a nice little spot to stick your hand
