Description:

Located on the far right of The Headwall, it actually begins to the right of The Headwall, just to the left of The Hobbit. After some mandatory slabbing, you begin up the overhang, come over the lip, and follow the seam up and underneath the roof to some anchors. It goes clean, so do your best not to scar it any further than it already has been... Bring HB offsets, tcus, tricams and cam hooks. This route goes clean NO PINS PLEASE! It has been roped soloed in under an hour. F.A. Duane Raleigh, Chris Rowins (1979) - Terry comment - I don't know who added the FA info but I thought Chris Rowins did the first ascent roped solo and he actually started below the headwall and aided a thin seam to get to the headwall. Then he started the second pitch deep in the chasm and free/aided his way up to the overhang and then up. For years there was one of his old home-made bolt hangers over there on the thin seam coming out of the chasm.
