About Emmaus Boulders:

Several nice boulders, some very hard problems in the V6-8 range. Rock is very grippy and can remove skin easily. Good beginner area with plenty of hard thin problems for the expert.
Climate: Hot Sticky summers (horrible bug situation usually), cool fall and spring mornings Months: Best Climbing (my opinion *dontfall*) October thru December

Nearest town or city: Allentown
Directions: From Route 309, Exit at Emmaus Avenue: South on Emmaus Ave. Continue down the street about 1 mile and turn left onto Alpine Street. Follow Alpine down to a parking lot on the left near a playground. Take the trail at the end of the road straight up the mountain. Right after the second wooden bridge, turn left (crossing over a small crick, heading in the direction of 10:00) onto a small trail leading up the hill. Trail heads up in a few different directions. Does not matter which trail is taken, all lead to Emmaus.
