Description:

This spire is actually located above Yankee Meadow Reservoir. Drive past the overlook, and park and hike due north along the choosy cliffband. The first ascent party, (T and T) climbed the rock in front of the spire and dragged a line up the spire for a tyrolean traverse. This route isn't that great, but I provides a fun day outing. This climb is on the south-west side of the spire. Access it from the saddle.
