Description:
This route is a finger crack begining eight feet right of the start of Skyline Traverse on the same ledge. Climb the finger crack up through good locks and constrictions ten feet to gain a broken shelf with an old ring bolt. Protect this first move with a stopper 5 feet off the ground to keep you and your belayer from tumbling off the ledge. Move right directly along the shelf to an off-width crack containing a tree - move directly up this to the base corner of Dufty's Pop-Off and anchor on top of a large block- micro wires and micro tcu's help here as well. An EXCELLENT warm up for Dufty's and a light nine for those breaking into the grade.

I couldn't do it!
True, there are great finger locks at the beginning of this route, but I couldn't find feet, and didn't want to fall onto micro-cams in the first 10 feet. I backed off, and thought the first moves to be extremely committing, especially when trying to get in gear. Anyone's thoughts?
