Nobody gives a crap about your silly dummy domes, biatch. Being a "local" at Chossua Tree just means you've spent all your money on crack and can't go somewhere decent, like New Jack. Go back to begging for change at the Circle K.

New Jack is better than JT? WTF are you talking about......NJC is a fucking pile of shit in Barstow (which is another pile of shit). Although I do climb there too. :P I agree with thomas - most type it JT. But at least for me, I say Joshua Tree when referring to it verbally. MOWZ can we get some more pics? Pretty please

Doesn't youtube have some sort of filter for videos with that kind of crapiness. If not, they should.

In reply to: New Jack is better than JT? WTF are you talking about......NJC is a f---ing pile of s--- in Barstow (which is another pile of s---). Although I do climb there too. :P Think about it... There's not that much good, hard, climbing at the dummy domes. If you're talking about good climbing, New Jack, the Quarry, places like that are where you want to go.

     Funny thread. I grew up out there and I've called it The Monument, JT, JTree, Josh, Home away from Home, and a couple of other endearments. One name I don't call it is Joshua Tree National Park :x Cosmiccragsman

In reply to: Oh so you're trying this topic over here now, did they run you off of Supertopo or something? Can I call it the Sandbox for now on instead of JT, JTree, Josh or what ever anyone else wants to call it? They call the Valley the Ditch, I think we need a new nick name name for JTree (notice I said JTree just to drive you nuts?), the Sandbox has a nice ring to it. Anyone else got any suggestions? We call it The Wasteland. Short for Low-Angle Wasteland. See murf's posts for a fuller exposition. J Tree is all ambiance; the Quarry and NJC are all climbing. It's hard to get both at the same crag. Ok, maybe Echo Cliffs, but it's almost always too hot there. Jay

As much as I *heart* caughtinside and Jay for their posts in this thread, that's really nothing new. So I feel I must give MURF the Tripper Jack award for so sublimely evoking the Jack JTree Rant 8-) http://css.weblogsinc.com/...ue-ribbon-winner.jpg

In reply to: how the hell did this thread disintegrate into 3 PAGES OF NOTHINGNESS??? "disentegrate" into nothingness? what the hell did this thread start off as? a cohesive, 1 page piece of nothing? do you object to the length it has gone, or do you actually think there was a point to start with? please, do us both a favor and only respond if the latter is true.

In reply to: In reply to: : I've called it The Monument.... there you have it. the only haters of Josh/J-tree are one-dimensional sport fools. And the lovers? They use tape condoms that would shame a prize fighter. Carrying multiple 4" pieces doesn't give you the right to claim you've got 8" ( or god forbid 12" ). Leave it to the Morlocks from the Wasteland to claim, " I put 4 pieces in that 3 feet, 'cause 3 of them were aliens and I didn't trust them." I bet you stand on top of Intersection and say things like, "Back when I started climbing here, the road went on *that* side". I mean, any good sport climber could just walk into Josh and climb everything worth climbing in a couple of days.
