going sport clipping as soon as my partner arrives. Climbing with Cornelius today... I had to meet him down town last night. He called me up... someone had stolen his car battery. Grabbed a new one and went on down.
That has got to be even scabbier than stealing a catalytic converter. A brand new battery is 100 bucks.

Were trashed at this point, and decided to do one last 11a on the walk out. We missed the turnoff to it, and instead wound up at Far From God, 12a/b, which I had not done for like 4 years. It had permadraws, and we managed to squeeze out a desperation end of the day zend of it. WOO!

Just managed to extricate pablo from between the shed and the upstairs neighbor's deck. He has the shits and gets scared by the "butt-demons", and spooked to a 6" wide space. This dog isn't 6" wide, and I had had more than a few beers. Basically, both jacks from the vehicles plus the crowbar to move the extra/bonus bits out of the way, and he finally came out.
I get to sleep in the bathroom, as the last time he had the buttdemons, he clawed the trim to where it needed to be replaced.
I am debating the countertop vs the bathtub right now.

I was back in my old stomping grounds of Auburn on Saturday. It was supposed to be open... but I guess there is a slight delay and the agreement has not been signed. Soon hopefully.
I don't think I've climbed in Auburn since 2005. i went up in 2007 one day looking for dry rock but everything was seeping and we bailed back to the sacramento gym.
Place still looks the same and the routes are still good. It's funny though, I can see a few of the mistakes we made and a few things I'd do differently knowing what I know now. Still, the place stands up and we were able to work the shade and get some fitness runs in. Temps in the shade were reasonable (I think there is a cold well below the shady wall) despite 90 degree temps.
After that we hit the river with a few Stellas. noice!

Well, I managed to play forensic scientist this morning, and determined that the sponge he ate a few days ago had been successfully ejected onto the bathroom floor. He seems to be feeling better, but is still refusing to go outside, as I think the entrapment spooked him and scarred him. I ended up camping outside of the bathroom door, and he was far less spooked than last time we locked him in the bathroom.

Hehe, well, permadraws in PMRP are under the perteckshuns of the RRGCC, so Das Crüe can do nutink.
Undertow Wall is still draw free from Resurrection on right. I had to hang draws on Skinboat, which was not a huge deal. I'm happy with the compromise.
We drank teh beerz with a couple girls at the cabin on Saturday, one of whom was one of the "in-crowd" from Miguels, who knows das crue (and who also don't like manderson, but that's a different story). Had some good drunken arguments.

I fly to michigan in about 6 hours. that's almost ohio. intend to drink a lot at the weeding, while also trying to keep down the blort. planning on yosemite (either the valley or tuolumne) next weke end with the brit, before he leaves town the following weke end. Have you considered staying in one of the Curry tent cabins? You'll sleep better and climb harder.
It does seem like they might be available now.

So gerks, this town doesn't have a city composting system. This is the first time since I was a little girl that I've been throwing organics right into the garbage and I don't like it.
The last place had a composter in the back yard, but there's not room for that kind of setup at my new place. So I'd like to setup a worm compost.
I plan on buying one of those roughneck rubbermaid bins that are a good size for your camping food bin tonight. Beyond that I see a few conflicting reports on where you're supossed to drill holes, etc. Setup suggestions appreciated.

You silly canuckians. I have never lived in a place that DID have city composting. I mean, yeah, maybe if you hauled stuff to the landfill yourself they MIGHT have a big compost pile, but beyond that, us rugged individualist capitalists have always been on our own (and without the use of our legs, I might add).
That's all I have to say. Not sure how to set up a worm compost, though our bin does have worm in it. They seem pretty psyched on their setup.
