That was Tim O'Neil he passed - his partner on the second fastest ascent of the nose. I think that was for humor on the Master's of Stone V video.

I've had the opportuinty to meet Sharma once (we're not bros or anything...) He's a real nice guy. Seems like the kind of guy I'd like to hang out at a crag with. But I'd have to say either Potter of Caldwell. Trad for sure... But I kinda like being me. My life is pretty fulfilling as it is.

Well if dreads are your thing, Potter's got Sharma licked. Here's a picture from this weekend. Sharma's dreads got nothing on potter's!

In reply to: I choose Sharma. If I was Potter I'd have to be married to Steph Davis - not a bad looking gal but I like my ladies slightly more subservient and with a blouse full of goodies! WOW, JUST WOW!

I don't know a whole lot about potter but everyone says sharma will live longer. With sharma doing a lot of DWS(deep water soloing) that might change. If he is doing 120 foot problems and he lands in the water wrong that could kill you very easily and he has been doing a lot of high up120+ 13's

In reply to: lol, love the new safety for old thread resurrection. Perhaps this topic has relevance now? Naw, no one's going to drop Potter from their all time favorite list just because he cheesed off a few NPS officials... My vote, BTW, would still be for Sharma, though. Dig that whole Zen Bhuddist approach that he takes towards climbing. Steve House for all-around climbing/mountaineering; Sure, Potter has climbed in Patagonia, but are either Potter or Sharma climbing 5.13 and putting up huge alpine routes in Alaska and abroad? Regards, Edd
