1) DON'T PANIC! She's alive! 2) Kelly, please don't kill me :) I am telling people cos I loves you. A lot of people do. Kelly and her friend Danny were in a pretty serious car accident in Flagstaff Sunday on their way home. Really heavy rain made their truck hydroplane, roll over and cross the median into oncoming traffic, hitting one or two other cars. They are both alive and for the most part ok. Don’t know Danny’s injuries, but Kelly has one leg broken and the other foot cut up pretty bad. She's in two casts. Her shoulder has also been separated. She’s in the hospital in Flagstaff (Flagstaff Medical Center) and will probably be there for a few days. Danny has been allowed to go home but Kel may be there until Thursday or Friday. PM me if you want a room number to send flowers or phone calls to... let's just not bother the poor chica with too many phone calls, she may be sleeping a lot. Happy candy eases the pain. HUGS and love to Kelly!

Fuck! No wonder I haven't seen her online!! Damn it, Hil -- and we were looking for her up there Sunday wondering where she bailed during the rain. I can't tell you how grateful I am to hear she's alive. I'll take my Kelly banged up over dead any day. GET WELL SOON BABY!! *smooch* I may head up tonight to see her. Hil, Alex,...anyone else -- wanna join me? PM me for my phone number. Ed

Well, now that there's a public little "get well forum" I'll add my message - get better, my dear. Remember that bones heal faster than muscle problems, and we'll see you in J Tree this fall.

Best wishes to both of you for a quick recovery. So sad to hear it happened, but so happy you will both be OK!!! On the other hand, where is the best crutch trauma center in the South West? Just in case Hillary needs to know...

KEL UPDATE: jvb and i just got back from FMC, where kelly is laid up. her parents are in town keeping the doctors honest. she thinks they'll prolly cut her loose on friday. even banged up from her automotive adventure (kinda looks like most of us do after a good fall on trad), she still looks hot. groowwwwLLLL  i wanted to bring her some whisky and a copy of "swank tatooed motorcycle mamas" magazine, but jvb insisted we bring flowers, newsweek, and a stuffed animal. pfffft. that's no fun. oh well. in any case, like i say, she looks great and will no doubt enjoy a speedy recovery. get well soon, toots!
