Tis, buddy, have a great time! Paolo and Heiko and I are off to Val di Mello to test the tightness of our sphincters when staring at 30 meters of unprotected granite slab... ahem... again. Hopefully, this time we will climb it ourselves and not be shown up by some fat, hairy, smoking Italians who climb it with hiking boots while groping their girlfriends. Yipes. That was embarassing. :!:  Take pics!!! Taz

Taz I fear the pics would come out like this: http://www.jochen-glass.de/...wandern/schesap1.jpg The only chance to get (most probably very emberrassing ones) pictures is to stay in Berlin. My youngest brother has his birthday tomorrow and will have a big party. I was about to skip it for climbing but now... since the middle one comes from Weimar to join us the chance of having an absolute hillarious drink-feast ist quite high. About the slab: Maybe y'all should keep some of the corks of the red wine the night before  - Daniel

In reply to: No drinking this time. We have to be prepared! So that means you'll have to substract .2 of every rating. Sheesh, no hangover... whimps!

In reply to: Whatever you do this WE, we want the embarrassing pics! :) Promised, if there are some. I think Felix (the middle one) will have his digicam ready when it comes to the worst  - Daniel

Boungirno this rainy monday, perfect for getting some work done. Sorry no photos as I forgott my camera at home but we did some very nice climbing on saturday outside Torino. 20-22 degrees and Sun. A day when you were feeling that you climbed in motion, doing all movments correctly in a harmonic flow  However Sunday was rainyday and suddenly only around 13 degrees, what happened? No climbing but I see that the snow arrived as low as 1500 m which is nice for the next season you know. Saluti Christian

Indeed rainy and dull today. I don't WANT to get work done. I want to CLIMB. Luckily we could do two trad routes in Val di Mello on Saturday just before the rain started... Really, a nice day. Unfortunately the harder routes we wanted to do were all wet, so we had to move to easier ones. Was still fun tho. http://www.forum.planetmountain.com/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=8145 (I have no idea why the friggin image doesn't appear with the IMG tag... ah... just click on the link to see it...) That is sunday... what's not evident from the pic are the 10°C and winds that made it real fun to take down the flooded tents ;-) http://www.forum.planetmountain.com/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=8154

Ciao You do it correctly but the linking must be done through some place which everybody can see, for example the picture are stored at some homepage. Now you are linking them directly from your local computer, c:/..... which nobody can reach. If you have a personal webpage by some means you can upload them there and then link them with the correct http:// adress. /Christian

AMAZING!!! the only bad thing was that we started to climb late, now both looks like shrimps! to hot, to sunny, but allot of fun* :righton: keep on smiling! congrats for your first long route! it's just great, isn't it? :) but hey... don't write words like "sunny","hot" etc. to us poor freezing northern europeans, ok! :?

Hi Everyone! Wow, what a great weekend, except of course for the winds and cold on Sunday. Ah, well - Saturday's climbing was well worth it! Especially watching Paolo stuck in a small chimney for half an hour. He had to get almost naked to get through  ... AND I got to lead almost everything! Yippee! Fugaz, we must talk soon... the Spain trip is rapidly approaching. :D Can you pm me your mobile number? I promise I won't stalk you
